Terms of Service for Curosa

1. About Curosa and Your Purchase

Curosa operates as a Merchant of Record. This means that when you purchase a product through our platform, you are buying that product directly from Curosa. While products are supplied and fulfilled by our network of independent suppliers ("Suppliers"), the legal contract for the sale of goods is between You (the Customer) and Curosa.

In practice, that means Curosa is responsible for processing your payment, managing tax compliance (including VAT), and providing primary customer support for your order. If something goes wrong with your purchase, we are your first point of contact.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase.
• You are responsible for providing accurate information during checkout so we can deliver your order correctly and calculate tax properly.
• You must keep your account credentials secure; Curosa is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from user negligence.

3. Orders and Pricing

3.1 Order Acceptance

Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline it for any reason, such as unavailability of stock from our Suppliers or suspected fraud. If we decline your order, we will not charge you (or we will refund you if payment has already been taken).

3.2 Pricing and VAT

All prices displayed on Curosa include UK VAT where applicable. As the Merchant of Record, Curosa is responsible for the collection and remittance of all relevant taxes to the authorities.

3.3 Payments

Payments are processed securely via our chosen payment gateways. "Curosa" (or our payment processor's descriptor) will appear on your bank or credit card statement.

4. Shipping and Fulfilment

While Curosa is the seller of record, physical fulfilment is handled by our Suppliers. Delivery times are estimates. Curosa remains your primary point of contact for any issues regarding non-delivery or damaged goods—please contact us and we will work with the Supplier on your behalf.

5. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods for a full refund.

• Process: To initiate a return, please contact Curosa at support@curosa.com. We will guide you through the steps.
• Refunds: Once the Supplier confirms receipt of the returned item, Curosa will issue a refund to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within a few working days of us receiving the return.
• Exclusions: Certain items (e.g. perishable goods, personalised items, or sealed health/hygiene products that have been unsealed) are exempt from the right to cancel.

6. Product Information and Liability

Curosa strives to ensure all product descriptions provided by our Suppliers are accurate. However, to the extent permitted by law:

• Curosa does not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free.
• Curosa's total liability for any claim arising out of a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

7. Intellectual Property

The Curosa platform, including its custom-built software, design, and branding, is the exclusive property of Curosa. You may not reproduce or "scrape" our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
